KUALA LUMPUR, Sept -- University student elections closed at 4pm here Tuesday and final results are expected after 5.30pm.
Of the 198 uncontested seats in six campuses nationwide, Pro-Aspirasi has won 150 seats.
The six campuses are Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Universiti Perguruan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) dan Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM).
There were a total of 454 seats - general and faculty - from 15 public universities involved in the campus polls.
The outcome of the 256 conteste seats will be known after 5.30pm.
