Silly Hannah

Hannah Yeoh, DAP state assemblywoman for Subang Jaya has a habit of tweeting the silliest things. Her tweets often showcase her lack of political maturity and she has a lot to learn before even attempting to champion political issues using social media.

Yesterday, Hannah tweeted that a resident went to her for help to solve a problem in her area. Hannah conveniently did not explain what problem this was but went on a tirade complaining about the attitude of the local council staff who apparently berated her resident.

Hannah also tweeted that this local council staff also threatened the resident by saying ‘we know who doesn’t vote for BN’. Hannah ended her tweeting diarrhoea by exclaiming ‘BN are bullies, lets vote them out’.

Now, Hannah was voted in 2008. It has been more than three years since she has been in power yet she claims that a local council staff threatened her. Is she saying that she is so powerless than members of the local council office can just threaten her? What lame leadership skills for an ADUN to have??

Also, did Hannah’s amateurish tweets prove what Selangor people have been saying all this while about Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim ineffectiveness and lack of competence?

If Hannah can’t even administer her local council officers properly, MB Khalid must have a nightmare managing the whole state. This leads to an even more important question: How is PR going to manage the country’s 1.2 million civil servants if they ever get into power?

Where are the leadership and delegation abilities? Will the rakyat’s woes never be solved with them in power?

Then again, we might be over-reacting. Perhaps the problem isn’t with the local council or the resident or even MB Khalid. Perhaps the problem lies solely with Hannah’s gullibility.

You see, late last night, she decided to make another political statement using Twitter. She asked aloud when MCA and UMNO were going to remove their banners from Persiaran Tujuan in Subang Jaya.

We at StopTheLies would like to politely remind silly Hannah that banners are local council issues and instead of using Twitter to sound clever, she should have realised it was her responsibility as an ADUN to remove them!
