Rovio Mobile Ltd. has announced reaching a new milestone for its massively popular Angry Birds franchise, which is currently available on various mobile platforms.
The game is currently available on Android, iOS, Playstation, Symbian, and just recently on the Chrome browser, but a Windows Phone 7 edition is in the works, which has been delayed and will be available to customers by June 29 through Microsoft Marketplace for Windows Phone
Angry Birds will come to Facebook, Wii, and Xbox as well and will cross desktop, gaming, and mobile platforms.
At present, there are three editions of Angry Birds: Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and the most recent Angry Birds Rio.
Angry Birds Rio, which launched this year, already appeared on the Amazon Appstore for Android storefront and made its way to other app stores as well, which has reached over 35 million downloads.
